Cara Penghitungan Subneting dengan
Menggunakan CIDR
Subneting adalah suatu cara yang
digunakan untuk menghitung alamat IP. Sedangkan CIDR (Classless Inter Domain
Root) adalah Sebuah cara yang digunakan untuk menelompokkan subnet menjadi
kelas A, B, atau C selain itu CIDR juga digunakan untuk menghitung subnet mask.
Dalam menghitung Subnet kita perlu
menetahui berapa jumlah subnet (network), host/subnet, dan block subnetnya agar
kita mudah dalam pengelompokan IP nya.
Cara menghitung subnet mask dengan
menggunakan CIDR
Dengan berpedoman pada 8 deret angka
yaitu 128 64 32 16 8 4 2 1 yang setiap angka tersebut mewakili bilangan biner.
Dalam pembacaan bilangan binernya, angka 1 berarti angka tersebut hidup kalau
angka 0 berarti angka tersebut mati.
Kelas A.
Pada kelas A penghitungan binary
dimulai dari octet ke 2. Contoh : 11111111.11000000.00000000.00000000 dapat
dibaca 255.192.0.0
Kelas B.
Pada kelas B penghitungan binary
dimulai dari octet ke 3. Contoh : 11111111.11111111.10100000.00000000 dapat
dibaca : 255.255.160.0
Kelas C.
Pada kelas B penghitungan binary
dimulai dari octet ke 4 (terakhir). Contoh :
11111111.11111111.11111111.10000001 dapat dibaca : 255.255.255.129
Cara Menghitung Subnet
Subnet = 2x (Dimana x
merupakan banyaknya binary 1 pada subnet mask)
Cara Menghitung host/subnet
Host/subnet = 2y – 2
(dimana y adalah banyaknya binary 0 pada subnet mask)
Cara Penghitungan block subnet
Block subnet = 256 – (nilai binary 1
pada subnet mask)
Contoh!
192.168.3.0/26 Hitunglah
subnetingnya!
Maka :
Subnetmask =
11111111.11111111.11111111.11000000 = 255.255.255.192
X = 2
Y = 6
Subnet = 2x =22
= 4
Host/subnet = 2y – 2 = 26
– 2 = 64 -2 = 62
Block Subnet = 256 – 192 = 64
